Darin paints both interior and exterior murals, all of which will be painted with acrylics. He will come to you and give free estimates, often needing to see the space where the mural will be painted. Murals can range greatly in size and usually determined by the amount of space available. The artist will discuss subject matter and dimensions of the mural and then start designing layout and creating sketches. When the artist has several ideas to show you, a meeting will be scheduled. Of course consulting by phone or email is convenient when unable to meet in person. Pricing for a mural is charged by square footage.

This exterior mural was painted in acrylics and is approximately 5' x 48'. It is on the corner of Lincoln ave and leland ave in chicago's Lincoln square neighborhood and was completed in 2007.

This mural was painted at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights and is approximately 8' x 10' competed in 2003. It was painted in the pediatric department and was designed to capture the attention of young people with its larger than life flowers and insects.

This mural is more tranquil with vibrant colors and was intended to give patients a sense of escape. It's approximately 8' x 12' and is also on the pediatric floor of Northwest Community Hospital and finished in 2003.

Here is a painted rug designed to work with the interior of this living room. Special paint was used because of the foot traffic and moving of furniture. Painted in summer of 2005 in Chicago's Austin neighborhood on the west side and is 8' x 10'.
